The club gives students a place to design, build and test real robots and to represent PolyU in international competitions. We want this to be sustainable: robots wear out, parts break, competition rules change every year, and each cohort has to train the next.
Donations from alumni, families, companies and friends of PolyU help us keep equipment working, enter competitions and train more students. Every contribution, large or small, goes to student activities.

What your donation supports
Robot parts and equipment
Motors, batteries, sensors, onboard computers, materials and spare parts for club robots.
Competitions
Entry, shipping and travel costs for teams representing PolyU, such as Robocon.
Training
Workshops, training kits and safety equipment for new members.
Long-term platforms
Robots that stay with the club, are documented and are improved by each new cohort.

We welcome companies that want to bring a real problem to students, or to take club technology further.
Bring a problem
Share an inspection, logistics or service task; a student team can study it and build a prototype with mentors.
Sponsor a team
Support a competition team or a platform project, with your company named on the robot and on this website.
Visits and internships
Host company visits and offer internships to club members.
Put technology into use
Work with the club and PolyU to test and develop student robot technology in real settings.
