Club welcomes its External Advisory Board
The club has invited leading researchers and industry leaders from Hong Kong, mainland China, Macau, the United States and Germany to form its External Advisory Board. Members include Prof. Fei Gao of Zhejiang University, Prof. Boyu Zhou of the Southern University of Science and Technology, Prof. Chaoqun Wang of Shandong University and Prof. Hui Kong of the University of Macau, among others.

Academic advisors
Prof. Fei Gao (Zhejiang University) works on aerial robotics and drone swarms, and Prof. Boyu Zhou (Southern University of Science and Technology) on aerial robots and autonomous exploration. Prof. Mengmeng Yang (Tsinghua University) works on autonomous driving maps, perception and scene understanding, and Prof. Zhiyong Sun (Peking University) on multi-robot coordination, distributed control and autonomous systems. Prof. Chaoqun Wang (Shandong University) works on robot navigation, drone inspection and embodied AI, Prof. Hui Kong (University of Macau) on robot perception, SLAM and autonomous driving, and Prof. David M. Rosen (Northeastern University, USA) on robot perception, SLAM and trustworthy autonomy.
Industry advisors
Prof. Fei Gao (Founder and Chief Scientist) and Prof. Boyu Zhou (Technical Committee) also advise from Differential Robotics (微分智飞), a company building autonomous aerial robots. They are joined by Mr Leo Liu, Chief Technology Officer of Gammon Construction, who brings experience of autonomous systems in construction, and Dr. Tim Pfeifer of Siemens AG, Germany, an expert in robust sensor fusion, factor graph optimisation and indoor localisation.
What the board does
The board advises on the club's technical direction and project choices, gives seminars and hosts lab and site visits, helps members find routes into research and PhD study, and brings real engineering challenges from industry into club projects. We thank all board members for their support.
